Dublin Core

Title

2010 Incarceration Rates in the Four Corner States

Subject

This map shows the Rate of Incarceration in Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Utah. This is the first map of three different years that will show the change of incarceration prevalence through time.

Description

The map shows counties with their respective incarceration rates. The exception to the rule that urban areas have higher incarceration rates may be the Salt Lake region and the South Western Counties of New Mexico. Salt Lake has a lower prevalence of incarceration than the surrounding cities, while the outer Southwestern counties of New Mexico outrank the prevalence of their urban areas.
