This map shows food outlet service areas in the four corners area of the United States.

Description

Access to food outlets which sell adequately healthy food is a major concern in public health.

This map displays the point data locations of food outlets in the four corners area of the United States. Also displayed is the service areas of the food outlets. Using service network analysis, this map visually shows the areas which have access to of food outlets. Analysis was set to 10, 20, and 30 minutes travel time. Therefore access was defined as within 30 minutes of a food outlet. This method of analysis shows the map locations (displayed in gray) which do not have easy access to a food outlet.
